Botanical Art: Blue Faced Honeyeater and Waratah “Hmm, Waratah !!”
Two amazing things, when placed together create a strong image as well as a wonderful play with the colours of the bird against the red waratah. The Blue faced honeyeater is a bigger bird, so placing him with the waratah makes him look more delicate and attractive.

Note from the Editor:
Botanical artists are highly skilled, producing important records of botanical subjects. Their works of art are also visually appealing in their own right ; illustrations may be ink, watercolour, pencil, oils or a combination.
The Gardening Magazine features Botanical Art and the artists to promote their work and to provide another platform to display these remarkable art forms.
